The Iowa debut of Spencer Turnbull could have gone better. Turnbull took the loss after getting rocked for six runs on nine hits over just three innings. Two of those nine hits were home runs. Turnbull struck out three, walked one and hit one batter.
Connor Noland pitched four scoreless innings of relief, giving up just two hits.
