The Iowa Cubs were rained out in Indianapolis today. The game will not be made up. They’ll attempt to play the finish of Friday’s game that was suspended after nine before the regularly-scheduled game.

The Knoxville Smokies defenestrated the Birmingham Barons (White Sox), 6-4.
Chris Kachmar started for the Smokies and put them in an early hole, allowing four runs in the bottom of the first inning.
