Peter Solomon’s Cubs and Iowa debut did not go well as he didn’t make it out of the second inning. He took the loss after giving up five runs on two hits and three walks over 1.1 innings. Three of those five runs were unearned, however. Solomon struck out two.
Catcher Moisés Ballesteros hit two home runs today, extending his hitting streak to 16 games.
