Cubs magic number is the reason why Kyle Tucker is being handled with caution

Kyle Tucker played an important part in the Chicago Cubs' 4-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night. Tucker's three-run home run got the Cubs' scoring started in the third inning, and it was a reminder that when he is healthy, he very much is the difference maker in the Cubs' starting lineup. It seems, however, that Tucker's health may be in question once again.

Tucker was removed from the game, and afterward, Craig Counsell revealed to reporters that the All-Star right fielder is dealing with a calf injury. Counsell already informed the team's beat that Tucker will not be in the lineup for their Wednesday night game against the Braves, and with Thursday being an off day, the Cubs have some time before deciding if any further measure is needed for the veteran outfielder.
