The last I checked there were seven wonders of the world and I haven’t seen any of them. While I’d love to see the Hanging Gardens of Babylon or the Colossus of Rhodes, I can die peacefully tomorrow because I saw the Cubs’ new home clubhouse.
At least part of it anyway. The thing is 30,000-square feet. The pilates room — Presented by Lululemon? — isn’t done yet. We don’t get the full tour of all the rooms until Tuesday, but Cubs president Theo Epstein ticked off some of the training tools, some of which I didn’t know existed.
