The Cubs’ game against the Brewers on Wednesday at Wrigley Field was postponed due to rain. The team made the announcement more than two hours before game time, with inclement weather forecasted throughout the evening.
The game was rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on Aug. 18, when the Brewers return to Wrigley Field for a now five-game series.
Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon, who was originally scheduled to start Wednesday, will be pushed back to Thursday, manager Craig Counsell said.
