Among the early rumors from the GM Meetings this week was that the Chicago Cubs are in the market for a corner outfielder this offseason. Considering how willing the team is to let Kyle Tucker sign with another team this offseason, it has always felt that the Cubs were comfortable with their outfield outlook ahead of the 2026 season.
However, Marquee Sports Network's Bruce Levine added a tidbit that would seem to confirm the Cubs are looking for an outfielder this winter. Appearing on "Cubs 360", Levine made a connection between the Cubs and Los Angeles Angels' outfielder Jo Adell.
