Michael Busch made history in the first inning of Game 3 of the National League Division Series.

His 401-foot homer that tied the game 1-1 against the Brewers made him the first player to hit a leadoff homer in the same series in postseason history.

Busch, who’s 34 homers led the team in 2024, has been one of the lone bright spots in an otherwise meager Cubs attack. The Cubs haven’t scored more than three runs in the postseason.

The Cubs are in a win-or-go-home Game 3, trying to stave off elimination at the hands of their NL Central rivals.
