The Rockies were held hitless until one out in the top of the 9th when DH Francisco Garcia reached base on an infield single (a high chopper that was cut-off by Cubs third-baseman Christopher Paciolla between 2nd & 3rd, but his off-balance throw to 1st base just didn't have quite enough juice on it and Garcia was safe by a half-step).
