The Cubs were one of the first teams in professional sports to celebrate a Pride Night, and they’re maintaining that tradition later this week. These celebrations are becoming far more commonplace, rightfully so, but we’ve still got a long way to go when it comes to creating more room for marginalized populations. If that makes you feel a certain kind of way, maybe stop and consider that not everyone feels a sense of inclusion when they go to the ballpark.
