When it comes to the "big" moves the Chicago Cubs made this offseason, it's easy to forget that relief pitcher Eli Morgan was once considered an exciting piece to a badly needed bullpen revamp. A poor performance to start the season, followed by an injury that's kept him on the shelf since the spring, will do that. However, there's one big reason why Jed Hoyer and Co. should consider bringing him back in 2025.
