According to reports, the Cubs are adding pitcher Kendall Graveman.

Graveman—28 years old—is currently recovering from Tommy John surgery, which he had last season with the Athletics.

He could develop into a solid player if his recovery goes well. And the Cubs have protected themselves as well, as the deal is for a low salary and has a team-option.
