I have been watching Cubs baseball for a long time, as you all know.
I cannot think of another Cubs win that made me as unhappy as this one did.
Sure, the Cubs beat the Brewers 6-5, but the issues they’ve had with the bullpen came true once again in this win, almost ruining another outstanding start from Jameson Taillon. This is just like all the other wins recently: Great starting pitching, enough runs to win, then the bullpen comes in and messes the bed. I mean, messes it bad and at some point Jed Hoyer & Co.
