Cubs 4, Orioles 0: Shōta Imanaga & Co. get the job done

Again, it’s time to ask: “Where has this team been?”

More correctly, we want to say: “Please stick around for a while!”

The Cubs got outstanding pitching from Shu014dta Imanaga and three relievers, and for once it was the other team stranding runners all over the place — the Orioles went 0-for-11 with RISP.

All of that and some timely hitting led to a 4-0 win over the Orioles, the Cubs’ third straight win. It’s the first time they’ve won three in a row since they swept the Astros at home in April, then won the first of a three-game series in Boston near the end of April.
