It wasn’t the best of games. Cubs hitters struck out 12 times. Some sketchy defense helped lead to a Houston run. The Cubs had only one hit after the fourth inning.
And yet, the Cubs put a large crooked number on the board in the first inning for the second day in a row, this time four, and made it hold up for a 4-3 win over the Astros on a very chilly night at Wrigley Field.
