Cubs 12, Astros 3: Kyle Tucker leads the revenge of the offense

This game started distressingly like Friday’s. The Cubs managed a first-inning run, but could have had more. Then they stopped hitting and gave up the lead.

Just when you thought the bats would remain silent, the Cubs exploded for a seven-run fourth and coasted to a 12-3 win over the Astros.

Let’s begin at the beginning.

With one out in the first, Kyle Tucker singled and stole second. A ground out moved Tucker to third. Then Pete Crow-Armstrong walked and stole second. (Yes, the Astros are not very good at catching base stealers.) Dansby Swanson walked to load the bases.
