Three up:
- Justin Steele struggled with his control a bit early on, but worked around it and ended up allowing just one run in six innings. He now has an ERA of 0.75 and a FIP of 2.64 in the extremely large sample size of two starts.
- Dansby Swanson’s hot start continues. His go-ahead RBI single in the third inning was the Cubs second biggest play of the day by WPA, and he hustled to score from first on a single to center to help pile it on late in the game.
