Former No. 2 overall pick (Pirates, 2010) Jameson Taillon opposed Keider Montero and lefty opener Tyler Holton. Taillon generally puts in a workmanlike performance and this afternoon game was no exception. Right fielder Seiya Suzuki treated Taillon to an early lead and Dansby Swanson, in the four-spot, nearly joined him.
