The last triple-header of the year for me, thank the gods of baseball. The simCubs did well. The real Cubs. somewhat less so. Adam Wainwright did that thing he does to everyone except Ian Happ and the Cubs’ relief corps failed in the second game, as did the Cubs’ bats. Double-header sweeps are nasty, but there are still the Sunday and Monday games to play, and the Cubs can still come out on top. 20 regular season games left.
