With yesterday’s game being postpone till September due to weather, It’s a great time to catch up on a little news.
- C.J. Edwards was recently promoted from AA to AAA. Edwards is the # 2 rated prospect in the system and currently the highest rated prospect not in the Majors for the Cubs. He has been pitching out of the bullpen this season in an effort to lessen the load on his arm and, I believe, get him ready for a late season call up to pitch out of the pen if the team is in contention.
