Chicago Cubs: YouTuber puts together chilling playoff hype video

This journey all started when the Chicago Cubs announced former Boston Red Sox savior Theo Epstein as their President of Baseball Operations when he signed a five-year deal on Oct. 12, 2011.

With the Cubs looking for a new general manager, the move to bring in Jed Hoyer made sense considering the fact that these two men worked together in Boston.

Hoyer made several trades with the Red Sox after jumping ship to the San Diego Padres which featured Adrian Gonzalez heading to Theo in exchange for former Cub Eric Patterson (brother of Corey Patterson), Casey Kelly, Reymond Fuentes, and last but not least, Anthony Rizzo.
