We posted the Bleacher Report report cards for offseason signings before the Chicago Cubs went out and signed Brad Brach. Prior to his signing, BR had them at a D-. Was that grade fair, or was it too generous? At that time, the only name of note that the Cubs had signed was Daniel Descalso. Most of the other names you’d have to look them up to know who they were.
As if the Cubs had seen the grades, they followed by signing the former All-Star, Brad Brach. Brach had been on the Cubs radar last season before he was eventually traded to the Braves.
