Chicago Cubs Score and Recap (Simulated Game 57): Cubs 4, Marlins 3 – Robel García Leads Cubs to Sweep of Miami

The Chicago Cubs (37-20) continued their winning ways on Thursday, getting out the brooms for the Miami Marlins (25-32) and sweeping their three-game series at Wrigley Field. Alec Mills pitched well in his first start of the season and the Cubs’ offense bounced back after falling behind early to win the game 4-3, via MLB The Show 20.

Mills was starting in place of Jon Lester, who is on the 15-day IL with back spasms. The right-hander gave up an RBI single to Matt Joyce in the 2nd that put Miami ahead 1-0, but otherwise pitched very well through five innings.
