The Cubs and Cardinals met in the deciding game of their series at Wrigley Field on Sunday night after an hour-long rain delay. Chicago wasted no time jumping all over their rivals, scoring early and often in a blowout victory.
Pete Crow-Armstrong got the North Siders on the board against Erick Fedde with an RBI single in the bottom of the 1st. Kyle Tucker brought home two more on a hit with the bases loaded in the 2nd to bring the score to 3-0.
The Cubs exploded for five runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning to put the game away.
