Chicago Cubs Score and Recap (7/29/25): Brewers 9, Cubs 3 – Vaughn Vanquishes Cubs

The Cubs and Brewers met in the second game of three at a warm American Family Field on Tuesday night. Chicago played poorly for a second consecutive contest and Milwaukee won comfortably to take the series.

The North Siders scored first against Quinn Priester on an RBI groundout by Dansby Swanson in the top of the 2nd. The Brewers took the lead on Colin Rea via a pair of sacrifice flies by Anthony Seigler (2nd inning) and Andrew Vaughn (3rd inning).

Milwaukee started to break the game open with three runs in the 5th inning.
