The Cubs and the Royals met in the deciding game of their series at a hot and humid Wrigley Field Wednesday afternoon. Kansas City took full advantage of the weather conditions, pounding four home runs and winning decisively.
The Royals went ahead immediately when Vinnie Pasquantino hit a two-run shot against Colin Rea in the top of the 1st inning after Seiya Suzuki biffed a fly ball to put a runner on second. Chicago got one back on Seth Lugo on an RBI single by Reese McGuire in the 2nd.
