Chicago Cubs Score and Recap (7/19/25): Cubs 6, Red Sox 0 – Solo Homers Key W

The Cubs and Red Sox met in the second game of three at a muggy Wrigley Field Saturday night. Chicago put up a barrage of solo homers and won going away to take the series.

Boston began the game with a double, but Shu014dta Imanaga stranded the runner at third after a pair of strikeouts. The North Siders got off to another quick start when Michael Busch and Kyle Tucker hit back-to-back solo home runs against Brayan Bello in the bottom of the 1st to go in front 2-0.

The Cubs added an insurance run on a sacrifice fly by Vidal Bruján in the bottom of the 2nd to increase the lead to 3-0.
