The Cubs and Giants met in the rubber match of their series at a chilly and windy Wrigley Field on Wednesday afternoon. Chicago could not get anything going with their bats in this one and San Francisco won a low-scoring game
Wilmer Flores hit an RBI single off of Cubs starter Ben Brown to give the Giants a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st. LaMonte Wade Jr. doubled in a run and Christian Koss singled home another to make it 3-0 in the 4th.
The North Siders got one of those tallies back against Robbie Ray in the bottom of the frame when left fielder Heliot Ramos misplayed a Pete Crow-Armstrong pop-up in the wind, allowing it to drop for an RBI double.
