The Cubs and Giants battled Wrigley Field Tuesday night after the home team picked up a lopsided victory on Monday night. Chicago staged a dramatic 9th inning rally to tie the game, but the Giants had a huge rally of their own to emerge victorious in extras.
Starter Colin Rea was not as sharp as he has been in his previous outings and Giants’ hitters took advantage. Heliot Ramos had an RBI single and Patrick Bailey added a sacrifice fly in the 2nd inning to give the road team a 2-0 lead.
