The Cubs came up short in their attempt to sweep the Brewers at American Family Field Sunday afternoon. What was a pitcher’s duel came apart for Chicago after ace Shu014dta Imanaga had to leave the game with a left hamstring strain in the 6th inning.
Imanaga and Milwaukee starter Freddy Peralta were very sharp Sunday and neither team could score through the first five frames. Then the Cubs lefty pulled up limping while trying to cover first on a failed double play and had to exit with two on and two out.
