The Chicago Cubs had a chance to play the division leading Milwaukee Brewers and possibly gain a game in the standings. Welp, so much for that thought. Mike Montgomery couldn’t get past the third inning, the Brewers offense showed why they’re one of the best in baseball, and the Cubs fell back under .500 again. One of the best things going for the Cubs is that the All-Star break is fast approaching and they should–less Wade Davis–be able to get some rest this year.
Did the Cubs call Kyle Schwarber back too soon?
