How many times a year do you think John Farrell calls up his son and says “I am your father, Luke.” in a deep voice? If I was him, I’d do it pretty much daily.

The I-Cubs almost wasted a terrific start from Duane Underwood Jr., who gave up just two runs on four hits over seven innings. Underwood retired the first nine batters he faced. He struck out three and did not walk anyone.
