Jacob Hannemann scored from second on an infield single by Mike Freeman in the bottom of the ninth as the Iowa Cubs beat the Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals), 3-2.
It was the best start of the season for Jen-Ho Tseng, who allowed just two runs on four hits over seven innings. Tseng struck out none and walked just one.
The win, however, went to Cory Mazzoni. Mazzoni pitched two perfect innings, retiring all six batters and striking out two of them.
Freeman was 2 for 5 today and drove in all three runs.
