Starter Joe Biagini pitched five innings and allowed three runs on six hits. He walked two and struck out six.
Ryan Meisinger pitched the final two innings without allowing a run and got the win. Meisinger surrendered just one hit. He struck out four and walked no one.
Shortstop Sergio Alcantara hit a two-run double in the ninth to give the I-Cubs a 4-3 lead. Alcantara was 2 for 3 with a walk.
