Congratulations to former Cubs farmhand Tayler Scott, who became only the second player and first pitcher born in Africa to play in the major leagues when he pitched for the Mariners tonight. His parents flew in all the way from South Africa to see their son pitch. Unfortunately, the Angels knocked him around a bit.
