The Iowa Cubs caught the Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals), 6-1.
Trevor Williams made a rehab assignment today and it went well. Williams faced seven batters over two innings and the only one to reach was hit by a pitch. Williams struck out two. He threw 32 pitches and 22 were strikes.
Justin Steele also made a rehab appearances. He pitched the seventh inning and gave up the Storm Chasers’ only run of the game on a solo home run.
