Starter Trevor Clifton gave up four runs on five hits over four innings. The big blow was a three-run home run to Derek Fisher in the bottom of the first inning. Clifton walked three and struck one one.
Dillon Maples ran into control issues in the bottom of the eighth inning and took the loss. Maples gave up two runs on four walks and one hit in one-third of an inning. Maples struck out one.
First baseman Jim Adduci went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI single.
