Jen-Ho Tseng kept the Storm Chasers off the board for the first five innings, but he gave up three runs, including a two-run home run, in the sixth. His final line was three runs on five hits over seven innings. Tseng struck out four and did not walk anyone.
Iowa managed just four hits. Jacob Hannemann went 1 for 4 with a double and one run scored.
