The Tennessee Smokies were outmuscled by the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Marlins), 5-4. (They’re really big shrimp.)
Starter Oscar De La Cruz didn’t make it out of the third inning today, having given up three runs on a pair of home runs in the third. The final line on De La Cruz was five runs on five hits and five walks. He struck out four.
