Chicago Cubs Lineup (9/21/23): Same Lineup as Wednesday, Hendricks Starting Rubber Match

The winning teams have averaged 13.5 runs in the first two games of this series, so the Cubs might want to have the lumber ready if they want to take this series. Kyle Hendricks has done a great job of limiting hard contact, which should be a real positive heading into this one. Then again, we saw Justin Steele battered by relatively weak hits.

David Ross is going with the same lineup as last night against righty Johan Oviedo, which makes it easy on me. Sorry for the brevity here, but I’m otherwise indisposed and will leave you with the simple notion that the Cubs absolutely must win tonight.
