Chicago Cubs fall short as Miami Marlins snap streak at 5

The Chicago Cubs looked like they would have some more of that comeback magic, but it was for naught as the Miami Marlins took the lead with a three-run fourth inning and held on from there to win, 6-5. John Lackey scuffled again, allowing five runs in six innings in taking the loss.

The Cubs (30-27) went down early as the Marlins (24-33) Christian Yelich had a sacrifice fly to give them an early lead. Lackey (4-6, 5.12) never seemed to have it tonight, allowing two home runs while striking out six.
