Brandon Morrow Sidelined 10-14 Days with Mild Calf Tear

I know this will be hard to believe, but Brandon Morrow is hurt again. The righty reliever had just resumed throwing after being shut down by a mild upper chest strain when he felt something in his calf while running. Morrow told Sahadev Sharma that an MRI revealed a mild tear that will sideline him for 10-14 days.

Yeesh.

There comes a time in nearly every athlete’s career at which they have to refuse to allow their body to betray them any further. The lucky few are those who go out before having to make that choice, but it’s seems as though Morrow missed his window about 18 months ago.
