Brandon Morrow out for 10-14 days with mild calf tear

The hits just keep on coming for Brandon Morrow, who in spite of appearing healthy to start spring training after a spate of injuries in recent seasons, will now be out for the next 10-14 days with a mild calf tear.

Morrow experienced some moderate discomfort in his calf during a recent outing, and upon further inspection it was revealed to be a mild tear. Thankfully the injury is not serious and Morrow should be recovered in less than two weeks.

Still, for Morrow — who missed the entire 2019 season — any injury must be considered a potential setback.
