Despite a glimmer of positive news on Kyle Schwarber prior to this weekend, the powerful lefty did not travel with the rest of the team to Arizona Sunday night.
Joe Maddon says Kyle Schwarber will stay in Chicago on three-game trip to Arizona, resting and rehabbing his back for the last week and a half. Hopes to have him in the DH spot next weekend at Guaranteed Rate Field.
