Baez flashes leather at third with diving play

KANSAS CITY -- It doesn't matter where Javier Baez plays, he can get the job done.

Baez made his 11th start at third base on Monday night for the Cubs, subbing for Kris Bryant, who is sidelined with a sore left shoulder, and he made a diving stop of Jorge Bonifacio's hard-hit grounder in the Royals' half of the second inning. Baez then scrambled to his feet in time to throw out Bonifacio at first.
