By now, everybody knows the Cubs were predicted to win the 2015 World Series in the movie Back to the Future II, which was released in 1989.
But how did that prediction come about?
Bob Gale, a co-writer for all three Back to the Future movies, joined Cubs Pregame Live with CSN's David Kaplan before Game 3 of the NLCS to discuss how it went down.
"The whole idea of the story of Part II is that Marty McFly goes into the future and gets the idea to use time travel to get rich," Gale said.
