It seems that there has been a growing segment of Chicago Cubs fans not exactly enjoying the style in which Boog Sciambi calls games for the Marquee Sports Network. The latest criticism of Sciambi arrived earlier this week when it seemed that he was building his excitement toward the Milwaukee Brewers throwing Matt Shaw out at home before Shaw ultimately beat the throw and was ruled safe.
Against their biggest rival, in the middle of playing five games against them throughout four days, emotions were high for the Cubs and their fans. Every play seemed to carry an added sense of pressure, especially when it came to the Cubs extending their lead.
