Anthony Rizzo becomes ninth Chicago Cubs player to hit 200 home runs

During the fifth inning of Thursday’s series finale victory over the Miami Marlins, Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo launched a two-run homer. Not only was it No. 201 for him person, but he also become just the ninth Cub to hit 200 home runs as a member of the organization.

So, how did Rizzo get to this point in his career? Back in January 2012, Theo Epstein pulled the trigger on a deal that sent Andrew Cashner and Kyung-Min Na to the San Diego Padres for a kid from Parkland, Florida.
