The stars from both leagues got together in the 95th annual All-Star Game at Truist Park in Atlanta on Tuesday. The National League raced ahead before the American League stormed back to even the score and force a first-ever home run swing-off to determine the winner.
The first three hitters of the game for the NL reached base against Tigers ace Tarik Skubal in the bottom of the 1st. Ketel Marte of the Diamondbacks hit a double down the line to score two and put the home team ahead 2-0.
The pitching was great after that until the NL got to the Royals’ Kris Bubic in the bottom of the 6th.
