Bolster the rotation
The Cubs found themselves scrambling at season’s end, as several of their starting pitchers were either sidelined due to injury or experienced regression. While Cade Horton established himself as a potential ace of the future, both Shota Imanaga and Matthew Boyd failed to maintain their early season form.
